Getting There And Around

Kenya is accessible by both air and sea. Air Travel is the easiest way of getting there.

International flights get you to Nairobi and Mombasa cities.

Once inside, there are domestic air services linking country destinations. Some fly to particular cities and towns … game reserves and along the Indian Ocean coast.

Ground transport include tour vans … car rental, buses, matatus (public taxis), and the train.


There are world-class hotels, Safari lodges, beach resorts and tented camps. You can find them in all cities and major towns. 

They are also available in national parks, game reserves and private conservancies.

Weather varies depending on the region you are in. The country has two rainy seasons. April to July (long rains) and November to December (short rains).

Nairobi city is the world's safari capital and also the Capital of Kenya.
